STREAM Academy

In the 21st century, scientific and technological innovations have become increasingly important as we face the benefits and challenges of both globalization and a knowledge-based economy. Ambassador School integrated STREAM (Science Technology Robotics Engineering Arts & Maths) learning opportunities in the classroom to ensure not only the success of our students but also the commonwealth’s future economic stability.

At the STREAM Academy, our teachers function as classroom facilitators. They guide students through the problem-solving process and plan projects that lead to mastery of content and STREAM proficiency, so that students are able to answer complex questions, investigate global issues, and develop solutions for challenges and real world problems while applying the rigor of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics content in a seamless fashion.

Rather than teaching the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STREAM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world. These classes expose students to various fields of 21st Century learning like robotics, 3D printing, electronic circuitry and augmented reality. Students of primary and middle school were engaged in questioning, problem solving, collaboration, and hands-on activities which is a precursor to addressing real life issues. STREAM education is active and focuses on a student-centered learning environment.
